An NFC business card app lets you program an NFC ring or card with your profile link. When someone taps it to their phone, your profile opens in their browser—no app required.

How it works

  1. Set your link — In the app, set a username (e.g. jane). Your link is ringtap.me/jane.
  2. Write to NFC — Use the app’s NFC writer to write that URL to your ring or card.
  3. Tap to share — Hold the ring or card to the back of their phone. Their browser opens your profile.

iPhone vs Android

  • iPhone — iPhone 7 and newer support NFC. Use an app like RingTap to write URLs to NFC tags.
  • Android — Most Android phones with NFC can write and read. RingTap works on both.

Do recipients need the app?

No. Your profile opens in their default browser. They can view your info, save your contact, and tap your links without installing anything.

Where to get NFC products

RingTap sells NFC rings and cards in the Store. You can also use compatible NFC rings from other brands—as long as they support URL writing, the RingTap app can program them.

Tips

  • Hold the ring flat against the back of the phone.
  • The NFC area is usually near the top or center of the back.
  • A tap typically takes 1–2 seconds.
